LED Dash Light Upgrade (will suit most models)

It doesn't get much easier than this, below is a guide that shows information to allow you to upgrade your 30year old globes in your dash to LED replacements.

The main benefit of doing this upgrade is that the LED's have no heat output and extremely low power consumption, and its cheap!

When purchasing the globes, just make sure they can run on 12 volts and have inbuilt resistors. You are not limited to white LED globes either, there are a wide range of colours available, blue, red, yellow, green... just to name a few.

Installation

1. Remove your dash instruments from your dash, requires a phillips head screwdriver and some patience.

2. Remove the wiring from the back of the dash (straight forward).

3. Turn the globe holders anti-clockwise half a turn and pull out of the backing of the dash.

4. Remove the globes by pulling gently.

5. Replace with the LED globes above.

6. Re-install your dash.
