Interior Light Dimmer Upgrade

Ever gotten in to a new car and notice how convenient it is to have a interior that doesn't turn straight off when you close the door?

Well now you can have that same comfort in your trusty old datto.

What you need;

1. A Dimmer Kit from Jay car -> http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=KC5392

Light Dimmer Kit

2. A soldering Iron compatible with working on circuit boards

3. A small amount of wiring experience.

Installation

Once you have assembled the unit, installation not to difficult. The Unit has 2 connections.

The first one gets installed between your door closing mechanism that triggers the interior light.

The second one gets wired between your stop light lighting (so that when you get in and what to drive away quickly, the light will turn off once you hit the brake pedal.
